July 4, 2022
Changlin Wang was awarded the Best Oral Presentation Award during the 2nd International Conference on Aerogels for Biomedical and Environmental Applications in Athens, Greece.
Changlin gave an inspiring presentation about his latest research results with the title "Closed-loop Recyclable Aerogels From Renewable Bioresource". Organic aerogels are an intriguing class of highly porous and ultralight materials which have found widespread applications in thermal insulation and energy storage. Changlin achieved for the first time to render these advanced materials fully recyclable under mild conditions which is a large scientific advancement towards sustainability in this field.
