RESEARCH PROFILE
Ahmadreza is a tenured assistant professor. He got his Ph.D. from Tilburg University in December 2017. From his Ph.D., Ahmadreza has been interested in challenges in Optimization problems. Two of the main challenges are nonlinearity and uncertainty.
In his research, Ahmadreza uses data-driven robust optimization to deal with uncertainties. His focus is on developing efficient algorithms to obtain robust solutions. Regarding applications, Ahmadreza is focusing on high-tech systems and supply chains.
John von Neumann said, "If people do not believe that mathematics is simple, it is only because they do not realize how complicated life is." So, we should use mathematical tools to overcome complex real-life problems. I am focusing on Mathematical Optimization to model complex real-life decision-making problems.
