RESEARCH PROFILE
Hongxu Yang received the bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Tianjin University and Nankai University, Tianjin, China in 2014. In 2016, he received the master’s degree in electrical engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Eindhoven, Netherlands. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in the Signal Processing Systems, Video Coding and Architectures Research Group (SPS-VCA) at TU/e. The topic of the Ph.D. project is image-based cardiac catheter detection and tracking in 3D ultrasounds. His current research interests include object detection & tracking, machine learning and ultrasound system.
