RESEARCH PROFILE
Pellikaan obtained an MSc in mathematics at the University of Amsterdam and his Ph.D. degree in 1985 at the University of Utrecht. He worked as a postdoc till 1987 at the Free University of Amsterdam. Since 1987 he is assistant professor at the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Discrete Mathematics Group. Pellikaan’s main scientific contributions are in singularity theory and algebraic geometry codes. He published 30 research papers, 20 papers in conference proceedings and 10 chapters in books. Six students have received a Ph.D. under his supervision.
