Annelies Bobelyn

RESEARCH PROFILE
Annelies Bobelyn is an Assistant Professor in the department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Her areas of expertise include strategy, technology entrepreneurship, learning methods and technology and knowledge transfer.
Her research focuses on the strategic management of young technology-based firms and entrepreneurial exit. In addition, she has a strong interest in the management of sustainable product innovation projects using organizational control and learning as a theoretical lens.
Annelies is also a 4TU educational innovator: people who are involved in one or more collaborative innovation projects involving people from TU/e, Delft University of Technology and the Universities of Twente and Wageningen.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Annelies Bobelyn completed her dissertation at the University of Ghent and was also visiting PhD student at Imperial College London Business School. Her dissertation examined acquisitions of young technology-based firms from the perspective of the target firm aiming to realize a successful exit.
Prior to joining the TU/e, she was a post-doc researcher and Marie Curie Fellow at the Rotterdam School of Management, Technology and Operations Management department.
