RESEARCH PROFILE
Arnab Chaudhuri is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Chemical Reactor Engineering (SPE-CRE) group under the supervision of Professor John van der Schaaf. Arnab's work is focused on developing intensified reactors and processes to minimize the use of resources and to improve the energy efficiency of chemical systems.
The sustainable production of chemicals is vital to minimize the environmental impact on our planet. I hope to contribute to this goal so that we ensure prosperity for all while still leaving behind a liveable planet for future generations.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Arnab Chaudhuri was born in Kolkata, India in 1992. He obtained his Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering in 2014 from the University of California, Berkeley. He then moved to University College London (UCL) and obtained his Masters of Science in Chemical Process Engineering in 2016. In the same year, he moved to the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) for his PhD, which he obtained in 2021, with his thesis titled "Process Intensification with Rotor-Stator Spinning Disc Reactors: Applications for Multiphase Systems".
