Department / Institute
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Chris van der Ploeg received the B.Sc.-degree in mechanical engineering and the M.Sc.-degree (cum laude) in systems and control from the Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands in 2016 and 2018, respectively. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree in the field of fault detection, isolation and mitigation towards safe (cooperative) automated driving at the Mechanical Engineering department, Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, The Netherlands.Since 2019, he has been a Research Scientist with the Integrated Vehicle Safety Department, Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), Delft, The Netherlands. His current research interests include fault diagnosis methods, fault mitigation strategies/methods and lateral/longitudinal control for connected and cooperative vehicles.
