RESEARCH PROFILE
Cristina Izquierdo Lozano is currently a doctoral candidate in the Nanoscopy for Nanomedicine group (N4N) in Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Her research focuses on the use of Machine Learning to analyze super-resolution microscopy data.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Cristina Izquierdo Lozano obtained both her BSc in Biotechnology and her BSc in Computer Engineering in the Rovira i Virgili University (Tarragona), in 2020. In 2019 she had joined the Nanoscopy for Nanomedicine group in IBEC (Barcelona), to complete both of her BSc thesis, using Correlative Light and Electron Microscopy to characterize polymeric nanoparticles, and developing a MATLAB app to automatically correlate images obtained from two different microscopy techniques.
