RESEARCH PROFILE
Esmée de Boer is a doctoral candidate under the supervision of prof. dr. ir. Massimo Mischi and Arthur Bouwman, MD, Phd. She works on a non-invasive tool for hemodynamic monitoring.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Esmée de Boer received her bachelor's degree in Technical Medicine in 2015. She continued to obtain her master's degree in Technical Medicine at the University of Twente in 2019. During her clinical specialisation internship she gained clinical experience at the ICU of the VUmc. Furthermore, she worked with prof. Leo Heunks on multiple projects regarding the electrical activity of the diaphragm of mechanically ventilated patients.
