ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Haoyang Zhang is a Ph.D. student with the research group Electrical Energy Systems at the TU/e, focusing on market power simulation in the local energy markets with multi-agent reinforcement learning as part of the MEGAMIND project. Prior to the Ph.D. study, he was an associate researcher at China Southern Power Grid, Guangzhou, China from 2019 to 2021. He obtained his bachelor's degree from South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China in 2016 and his master's degree from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden in 2019. During the M.S. study, Haoyang was a Visiting Researcher with the PSL Lab, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich (ETH Zürich), Zürich, Switzerland, in 2018.
