Ragnar Eggertsson is a doctoral candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). He researches smart and efficient maintenance strategies for capital goods about which limited prognostics and diagnostics data is retrieved via sensors. By knowing the powers and limitations of modern technology, maintenance planning can be improved leading to more effective use of capital goods and human capital.
