RESEARCH PROFILE

As a researcher, I develop and evaluate apps that support behavior change. In particular, I aim to establish their optimal configuration to effectively promote behaviors that support health and work performance.

Because people have unique needs and traits, personalized approaches are promising to foster behavior change. Yet, it remains unclear how apps could meaningfully be tailored to individuals in varying contexts. I address this gap by applying data science techniques to develop novel personalization strategies, and evaluate their impact in empirical experiments.
