Tom Bloemers
Department / Institute
RESEARCH PROFILE
Tom Bloemers is a Doctoral Candidate at the Control Systems Group in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His current research is on the topic of efficient Linear Parameter-Varying (LPV) modelling and control, under the supervision of Associate Professor Roland Tóth and Associate Professor Tom Oomen in the Automated Linear Parameter-Varying Modeling and Control Synthesis for Nonlinear Complex Systems (APROCS) project. His main research interests include the modelling and control LPV systems, robust control and motion control.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Tom Bloemers obtained his BSc degree in Mechatronics from the Fontys University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands) in 2014 and his MSc degree in Systems and Control from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Cum Laude, in 2018. During his MSc degree, he worked on the topic of nanometer accurate motion control of a machnetically levitated planar actuator, carried out in the Control Systems group at TU/e.
