RESEARCH PROFILE
Yan Ni received her PhD degree in Biochemical Engineering in East China University of Science and Technology in 2013. Her PhD research was focused on identification of new enzymes and their application for organic synthesis. In 2014 she moved to the Netherlands, working as a postdoc researcher in Delft University of Technology with Dr. Frank Hollmann for more than two years. Afterwards she did one-year postdoc in University of Groningen with Prof. Gerrit Poelarends. Since July 2017, she joined Prof. Maarten Merkx’ group as a postdoc in Eindhoven University of Technology. Her current research is mainly on developing protein sensors for therapeutic antibody monitoring.
