Aleksei Dubok, PDEng ICT candidate, started on 01/09/2011 and is currently working on the project "Robust RFID Antenna’s (European project Pasteur)"
My name is Alex, I am from Russia and I am a Professional Doctorate in Engineering candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology at Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Program at Electromagnetics Group.
My main motivation to join this program was the challenge to create myself a future as a high educated engineer, who will be able to work in a field of modern high-tech industry as well as in research environment. This program allows me not just to significantly increase my level of knowledge in the field of my specialization, but, in addition, gives me the opportunity to work in a project, which will be implemented and realized in industry.
For me the PDEng traineeship made it possible to gain experience in the European education level, which significantly improved my communication skills, extended my technical knowledge, and contributed to my academic and professional growth.
Studying and working in the Netherlands gives a nice possibility to be on the cutting edge of progress in the field of modern industry’s challenges, to develop an open creative thinking approach and extend my professional interests. Moreover, working in the Electromagnetics Group gives me a chance to work with professionals of my investigated field in a very friendly English-speaking environment.
