“Doctors have to keep track of a huge amount of information: medication periods, treatments, dosages, and more. Since one picture is worth a thousand words, good visualization can help doctors save precious time and make better, more informed decisions. I developed a tool that supports neurologists at Kempenhaeghe, one of the biggest epilepsy centers in the Netherlands, in their way of working. Most interesting was figuring out what the doctors want and translating that into something that they can use in their daily work.
Eindhoven is a great place to live: nice and quiet and with a lot to offer. As a center of high-tech industry, Eindhoven provides a lot of opportunities to grow as a young professional. The EngD program taught me a lot of valuable things, both technically and professionally, working towards a career as a software architect.”
