RESEARCH PROFILE
Gabriele Federico is a PhD Researcher in the Electromagnetic group at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research interests include antenna measurements, antenna array design for mm-wave wireless communications, and RF material characterization.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Gabriele Federico received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in telecommunication engineering from the University of Bologna Alma Mater Studiorum, Italy, in 2013 and 2016, respectively, and the P.D.Eng. degree from the Eindhoven University of Technology, in 2018, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Electromagnetics Group of the department of Electrical Engineering.
He worked at The Antenna Company, Eindhoven, The Netherland, as antenna engineer from 2018 to 2019, and he continued this collaboration during his Ph.D. studies. In addition to the collaboration with The Antenna Company, after being selected as winner of the EuMA Internship Award 2023, Gabriele was guest researcher at the Research Institute XLIM, Limoges, France, for a period of three months.
