The department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences aims at being a European frontrunner in research and education on leading responsible and effective technology development and implementation in industry and society.

Our mission is to integrate social sciences and humanities with engineering research, resulting in high quality scientific output and in excellent educational programs, that create meaningful technology-based impact for the contemporary challenges of industry, government, and society.

As a part of Eindhoven University of Technology, research and education in the department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences focuses on gaining knowledge on and designing solutions for complex industrial and societal challenges arising from the interplay between new key enabling technologies (e.g., robotics, artificial intelligence, green energy and high-tech systems) and humans, companies and society at large.
