Welcome to the department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry

The department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry wants to be a center of inspired learning in chemical engineering and chemistry, encouraging the pursuit of new knowledge and innovative scholarship. To fulfil this mission, we provide strong chemical engineering and chemistry education for the benefit of solving complex societal challenges and to advance basic science and technology. This in itself will impact chemical and other associated industries and broader society. By interlinking chemical engineering sciences, materials chemistry and molecular systems our department translates fundamental research into marketable applications. To get the most valuable result we commit ourself to excellence in education, research and valorization. We pursue this in a collegial atmosphere with extensive collaborations and by sharing our expertise and scientific equipment infrastructure.
