  • The agriculture and food transition
  • The health transition

OPZuid specifically targets at innovative SMEs and its objective is to strengthen the cooperation between industry, knowledge institutes and governmental bodies.

Interreg

The European subsidy program “Interreg” stimulates cooperation between industry, knowledge institutes and governmental bodies in Europe for more innovation strength and a better environment. The program also aims to reduce the economic differences between various regions and European countries.

Interreg consists of several programs, each with its own characteristics, rules and criteria, and aimed at different regions in Europe. Research projects cannot be financed in Interreg; projects have to focus on the higher TRL levels. Subsidy percentages vary per program.
