Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing the way we work in many different ways. What will this mean for higher education? Not only what students need to be taught will change, AI may also change how, when and where students will be taught. Difficult skills and academic knowledge that were hard to acquire will become obsolete because AI can do things quicker, better and cheaper. Students will need to be taught skills and knowledge that AI doesn’t have. The work force in general will need to prepare for lifelong learning to make sure skills remain up to date. In this symposium various speakers address how, what, why and where we teach and learn may change and how we can prepare for this and make use of the opportunities AI offers.
