PhD EngD Network Built Environment

PhD & PDEng Network BE organizes activities and events to develop and sustain a stimulating academic and social environment for the young researchers in the Department of the Built Environment. During these activities/events, the young researchers have the opportunity of meeting their colleagues from different departments, getting to know them personally, and extending their social as well as academic networks.

PhD & PDEng Network BE organizes four main activities/events yearly: a winter, summer, academic and interdisciplinary event.

• The winter event commonly proposes a dinner for meeting colleagues from various research groups.
• The summer event often groups everyone around a barbeque during an outdoor activity.
• The academic event is a research day with relevant and varied workshops.
• The interdisciplinary event gathers all for a social moment around cultural diversity and exchanges.
