Read and Publish agreements with publishers

Read and Publish agreements with publishers

Corresponding (submitting) authors from TU/e can publish Open Access free of charge or at reduced rates in selected titles of the publishers that have a Read and Publish (R&P) agreement with TU/e. TTU/e Library continuously negotiates R&P agreements with the most relevant publishers for TU/e researchers. If you have questions or suggestions about publishers that are not in the list below, please contact our License Managers via Library.LicenseManagers@tue.nl.

To make use of such agreement, it is important to take into account the following details:

  • Author’s role: In most cases, to be eligible to make use of the R&P agreement, TU/e author must be a corresponding author (i.e., submit a paper).
  • Affiliation and email address: Publishers’ submission workflow automatically detects eligibility of an author based on the institutional email address and affiliation with TU/e indicated at submission.
  • Publication type: Not all publication types are eligible for free or reduced Open Access publishing under R&P agreements. This information can be found in the description of a deal.
  • Start and end date of R&P agreement
